Moving around: public transportation

There ara several categories of public bus transportation offered in the  Three-Country Area.  

Local buses that serve the local population mostly opperating services to and from city center to different residential areas of Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) Puerto Iguazu (Argentina). There are International Circular Urban Services which means buses that travel between Foz do Iguaçu and Ciudad del Este in a circular fasshion from early in the morning to approximately 8 pm. Buses between Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú and vice-versa also from early morning to 8 p.m. and buses from Puerto Iguazu to Ciudad del Este and vice versa from early mornibng to 8 pm.  Passengers coming from Puerto Iguazu to Ciudad del Este are not allowed to drop or pick up passengers in Foz do Iguaçu. After they leave Puerto Iguazu to Ciudad del Este or in the opposite direction from Ciudad del Este to Puerto Iguazu they only have the right to pass through the Foz do Iguaçu.
